Come to the November PTSO Meeting and Learn About What’s Happening at West End…and What Comes Next at Hillsboro!

Our November PTSO meeting will be held next week, on Tuesday, November 9, in the auditorium. Remember: ALL West End parents, teachers, and students are automatically members of the PTSO. Our regular PTSO meetings are a great chance for all of us to get actual, in-person face time with teachers and admin and to learn about important things happening at our school.

This month, teachers, administrators, and parents from our cluster high school, Hillsboro, will be joining us for part of the meeting to talk about Hillsboro’s unique, whole-school approach to IB and to answer any questions you might have. This information will be helpful to all West End parents, not just parents of 8th graders! Learn about options for IB learning through the different academies at Hillsboro, and get recommendations for your student’s middle school course load so that it is aligned with the requirements of the pathways offered at Hillsboro, including the academically rigorous IB Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme.
