SSMV, a joint venture between Vanderbilt University and MNPS, offers high school students a four-year, interdisciplinary, research-centered learning experience. Each year, they select 26 rising ninth-graders from across the district who are highly motivated to spend one day a week at Vanderbilt during high school learning about science, technology, math, and engineering directly from scientists and engineers. The online application will go live on the SSMV website on January 4, 2022, and the deadline to apply is February 11, 2022.
