Ukulele club will give beginners the tools to explore the ukulele as an instrument, master basic chord progressions, play songs all the way through, and learn music theory skills along the way! Classes will be taught by The Song Spot music lessons studio owner Dana Pirzchalski, an alumnus of Belmont University and avid music lover! Dana is also trained in autism and behavioral support for those with special needs and would be happy to make accommodations for your student if needed. No music experience needed—just passion about learning something new!
Ukulele club will meet before school (8-8:50 AM) on the following Wednesdays: 2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, and 3/9.
Cost: $60
To register, email westendptso@gmail.com; in your email, please indicate whether your student 1) already has a ukulele to bring to the club; 2) will purchase a ukulele prior to the first meeting; or 3) will need a loaner ukulele. At this time, we can’t promise that we’ll be able to provide a loaner ukulele to every interested student, but that is the goal, and we are working on it!
