A group of concerned parents from Eakin, Sylvan Park, West End, and Hillsboro, along with the PTSO presidents and the principals from the schools, will meet on Monday, 1/26, at 6 PM at West End (immediately following the January PTSO meeting, which will begin at 5:30). “Parents for a West End Pathway” will begin developing goals and a campaign to bring about a guaranteed K-12 pathway for families who get into our schools via the lottery. Please join us if you support this initiative and would like to see the current system change.
Also on Monday, 1/26, is the West End Project Expo. We have decided to offer this event as a precursor to the MNPS Project Expo held at Trevecca later in the month. From 6 to 8 PM students will display and present some of their research and creations from this year. Please make plans to attend, and we will send more information about the event in next Sunday’s lineup.
